Most people believe that males are supposed to be competitive, aggressive and logical thinkers among other masculine traits. Females on the other hand should be sociable, passive and emotional thinkers. People all over the world accept all of these stereotypes of females and males. These stereotypes also carry over into the way teachers conduct their classrooms. In education both genders have advantages and disadvantages in different areas. Most people believe that boys receive more attention then girls. Male students seem to talk more then females during class. They also tend to call out answers and therefore are given more attention in one perspective. Teachers also do not correct girls as frequently because teachers think that it will hurt girls’ feelings. When teachers give boys more constructive criticism this stimulates more intellectual growth, (Kleinfield and Yerian, 1995). Ethical guidelines Measures are taken to ensure that the shops from which the Burgers were collected were anonymous. I had to select a person that had to personally buy the burgers from all the shops one from each shop and then all of them analyzed. This is because, I did not want to associate the surveys with particular shops and hence the demographic information was very limited and hence enable be to look at the broad characteristics indiscriminately. The demographics did not involve any form of response from the clients but only one response was required from the Mc Donalds store which coincides with the fats content that had been attached at the label for the burgers. Chan Kim and Renà ©e Mauborgne describe the two different oceans in business: a red ocean and a blue ocean. The red ocean is bloody with competition. In these waters, you’re competing with many companies for the same customers via the same methods. Everyone’s begging for attention in existing markets. Growth becomes slow, if not outright stagnant. This is a brutal scenario for marketers, and one most of us work in today. It’s a sea of high competition, low differentiation. Contrast that picture of the red ocean with a blue ocean. These are clear, competition-free waters. It’s a place where unique approaches stand out because no one else can compete. In fact, finding the blue ocean renders competition irrelevant. Ask yourself the question, Has service to God become boring? Do I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to attend services and worship our Creator? If the answer is NO, one problem may be a lack of real sacrifice on our part. How to overcome your boredom? It is by joyous participation. Marcus Garvey "We declare to the world that Africa must be free, that the Negro race must be emancipated (p. 137 Altman, Susan. Extraordinary Black Americans.)" are the famous words delivered by Marcus Mosiah Garvey. Born a West Indian, he later became a powerful revolutionary who led the nation into the Civil Rights Movement. Garvey dedicated his life to the "uplifting" of the Negro and to millions of Black people everywhere, he represented dignity and self-respect. Like Malcolm X of a later generation, he believed that Negroes could never achieve equality unless they became independent-founding their own nations and governments, businesses and industrial enterprises, and their own military establishments which are the same institutions by which other peoples of the world have risen to power. Marcus Gravey was the eleventh child of Marcus and Sarah Gravey. He was born in 1887 in St. Ann’s Bay, a rural town on the north coast of Jamaica in the British West Indies. Garvey learnd at a young age about the differences between the races. Being one of the few Blacks on the island, Garvey often played with the children of his white neighbors. The little girl who lived next to the Garvey’s home informed Marcus that she was being sent away to school in Scotland and that she was instructed by her parents "never to write or try to get in touch with me, for I was a ‘nigger.’" Although he was a good student, financial problems forced him to leave school at fourteen and become an apprentice. After helping organize a strike, Gravey was fired from his job. Garvey’s mind was clearly on politics and the need for organization rather than on his vocation.
